Intermediate Chinese Readers

Intermediate Readers are designed for learners who are still at the developing stage of Chinese proficiency, mainly within HSK Levels 3–4.

These texts introduce a wider range of vocabulary and slightly more complex sentence structures, helping learners transition from basic to more confident reading. The passages remain accessible but include richer context, short narratives, and everyday situations such as school, work, travel, and relationships.

Carefully graded content ensures that learners are challenged without being overwhelmed. By engaging with these readings, students can strengthen comprehension, expand vocabulary, improve grammar awareness, and build the confidence needed to progress toward intermediate-level Chinese fluency.
