HSK 1 Grammar

HSK 1 is the beginner level of the Chinese Proficiency Test designed for learners with little or no prior knowledge of Mandarin. It focuses on building a strong foundation in basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple sentence structures.

At this level, students learn around 150 essential words, including everyday expressions related to greetings, numbers, family, and daily activities. HSK 1 emphasizes listening and reading skills, helping learners understand and use familiar phrases in real-life situations.

By completing this level, learners gain confidence in basic communication and develop the groundwork needed to progress to higher levels of Chinese language proficiency.
