Writing
Chinese writing stroke order refers to the standard sequence in which strokes are written to form characters. Following the correct order helps ensure neatness, balance, and readability. It also makes writing faster and easier to remember.
Basic rules include writing from top to bottom, left to right, and outside before inside. Horizontal strokes are usually written before vertical ones, and central strokes before symmetrical sides.
Proper stroke order is especially important when learning new characters and using dictionaries. By practicing consistently, learners develop better handwriting and a deeper understanding of character structure and composition in the Chinese writing system.
Writings are divided into seven categories: HSK 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7-9.
